Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Gombe State have been urged to embrace the ongoing electronic registration exercise to enable them obtain the new party membership cards.
A stakeholder of the party, Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, made the call shortly after renewing his membership at his polling unit in Jekadafari Ward of Gombe Local Government Area.
Dr. Jamilu Gwamna appealed to party members at all levels to give maximum support to the exercise, describing it as a critical step towards strengthening the APC and positioning it for greater success.
He also expressed satisfaction with the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, commending the administration for the execution of capital projects and the implementation of human development programmes, especially those targeting youths and women.
Earlier, Dr. Jamilu Gwamna paid a visit to the APC State Secretariat, where he praised party executives for their cooperation and effective coordination of party affairs.
To further support the e-registration exercise, Dr. Jamilu Gwamna announced a donation of ten million naira to the state party secretariat, as well as one million naira each to the eleven local government chapters of the party, bringing the total donation to twenty-one million naira.
Speaking on behalf of the APC State Chairman, Mr. Nitte N. Amangal, Alhaji Baba Abuja described Dr. Jamilu Gwamna as a loyal and committed party member and called on other stakeholders to emulate his gesture.
